liblog4cpp5 software package provides C++ library for flexible logging (runtime), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblog4cpp5
liblog4cpp5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblog4cpp5 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblog4cpp5 *
You will get with liblog4cpp5 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
